3 ways to style boyish hair
Posted in Fashion » Fashion Blog » Hairstyles » Hairstyles & Hair Cuts

Anastasia Pavlova's boy-cut hairstyle gives me visions of Carey Lowell, as Bond Girl Pam Bouvier, slinking around the casino tables in 1989's License To Kill. It's the kind of hair that works for a particular face but more so for a particular figure type: tall and slender and athletic, boyish but oozing femininity. In a beautifully photographed series by Fenia Labropoulou, Pavlova's short hair and longer fringe are worked into a number of different styles proving that the cut can be more versatile than just the au natural glamour of the '80s. There's a rockstar take with smokey eyes and fringe pulled forward into tousled waves. There's fresh, nude eyes rimmed in widening white, paired with sumptuous red lips and softly side-parted hair. Finally there's absolute drama in bold makeup and slicked-back hair. For each of these styles and their matching makeup Fenia's shoot provides perfect inspiration.
