Stella McCartney has a certain aesthetic, one that transfers from her clothing collections to the lingerie range that she launched back in 2008. The result is a line of intimates that are minimal but not basic, effortless but not boring. And for her first ever bridal specific lingerie collection it's much the same. Nor does she produce a range full of whites and off whites or corset-like pieces dripping in the usual cliche use of lace; rather the lace is balanced out by contrasting colours and details, or missing all together in preference for sporty mesh or floral silk, or a pop of bold red. And, as such, this is the kind of bridal wear that's not just for brides and not just for bridesmaids either; it's ideal for any occasion.
