Break it down to the elements and they're all of that era: a white double-breasted jacket with wide lapels, the kind you might have spotted on Bianca Jagger; a floppy felt hat; and a low-slung belt around a garment that's edged with fringing and longer than a top but shorter than a dress. And yet for all those elements there's something so crisply modern and minimal about the overall effect.
