This word sparks conflicting emotions in people; therapeutic, stressful, luxurious, blissful and even cheerless. While aimlessly walking in the bustling heart of Sydney CBD, you'd often get lost amongst fast fashion chains and big departmental stores. But when you walk past this store where shopping is treated as a refined art, you know you're in for a treat. The Corner Shop in collaboration with Claire Inc is showcasing its love for tasteful vintage fashion through a pop-up setting. What's Claire Inc, you ask? With what started as an ebay page, quickly transforming itself to an online space, Claire Inc is now all about the real physical action of shopping. If there were a school that taught how to master the art of collecting tasteful vintage, fashion director of Claire Inc, Belinda Humphris, would be the principal. We're talking clothing racks overflowing with Chanel, Sonia Rykiel, Donna Karan, Christian Lacroix, Moschino, Karl Lagerfeld, Comme des Garcons and alike. With a hardcore message of curated excellence, this pop-up store is an activity that's best shared with your daughter, mother, girlfriend, grandmother or even your boyfriend. The comfort of online shopping would be forgotten when you slip into a Chanel two-piece floral bikini worn by Shalom Harlow in 1996. Or the high-waisted Versace pants worn on the cover of Vogue in April 1995, might make you squeal in the dressing room. Entire Article: Read it by clicking Claire Inc. at The Corner Shop.
