Hooray for the weekend!

Highlight of our Friday …Kansas City’s {two new} Trader Joe’s are finally open!!I would love to have braved the crazy crowd bright and early when it officially opened but, alas, I was working. We plan on going in the evening {when it’s probably going to be just as busy} to check it out. Either way, I’m excited!

As per usual Friday … it’s time to Share the Love:

• Finding Vegan – Sort of like a Foodgawker or Tastespotting, Findingvegan.com features only vegan recipe photos. I love all these food photo sites, and I was happy to find yet another one!
  
  {See that peanut butter cup picture down there?? It should look familiar, ha.}

• Cupcakes and Kale – I found this blog on Finding Vegan (above) due to her Raw Strawberry Cheesecake recipe. It’s obvious we have a thing for raw pies lately, and this raw strawberry cheesecake definitely looks like something we would eat right up!

• Abz ‘N’ Oats – Funny story, Abby and I {though we didn’t really know each other} grew up in the same small southwest Nebraska town and went to the same small southwest Nebraska high school. It’s crazy that we now find ourselves in the same blogging community, ha. It really is a small world!

• Two Peas & Their Pod– I just noticed this recipe when I was browsing through Google Reader this morning, and it seemed like the perfect summer treat to share! Maria’s pineapple sorbet has three very simple ingredients {pineapple, sugar, and water}, I love it. It sounds delicious!
