And the road trip has begun!

We left my family’s house on Sunday morning and headed to Denver. The first thing we did was eat! More on that coming later. First, a check in post with a little bit of randomness.

We spent most of the day exploring Denver, Boulder, and Estes Park. One of my favorite parts of driving across different parts of the country is simply driving through the different terrain that I don’t get to see in Missouri!

Erik did some hardcore rock climbing, as you can see.

Most notable? The weather in Colorado was beautiful in the high 60s. We haven’t felt any air below 90 to 100 degrees in a long time! It was a welcomed change.

There will be some exciting food posts coming up, but for now a few Instagrams along the way:

We’re in Salt Lake City tonight, and tomorrow we’ll be headed to one last stop in Las Vegas before getting to CA. Woo hoo!
