KarenMills.net : Interior Design: Color Trend Forecast 2012!

Wondering what the interior design color forecast for 2012 will be!  Here’s what three of the country’s top color trend experts are forecasting for interiors!

First all three experts agree that analogous (adjacent) colors on the color wheel will be popular as color combinations in 2012, while specifically predicting organic neutrals (grays and beiges), soft pinks, golden yellows, calming or denim/indigo blues, violet, and grassy greens.

Jackie Jordan, interior designer and director of color marketing for Sherwin Williams, described the her neutrals for 2012 as  a “ field of grain, pile of pebbles, weathered wood, earthy clay or gold sun” while Leatrice Eiseman, director of the Pantone Color Institute, titled her neutral color palettes “Pre- Fossil” and “Pre-Industrial”.

All three color trend experts are hesitant to reveal their 2012 interior design color of the year yet, but Leslie Harrington will reveal her top three choices for the 2012 colors along with her predictions for 2013 colors during her interview on Living Large this Sunday at 10AM CST on News Radio 98.1FM and 980AM KMBZ. (streams live on kmbz.com). Color expert Lea Eiseman will also make an appearance so you don’t want to miss it!

And if you’re looking for the latest interior design trends and styles, then tune into Living Large with Karen Mills this Saturday at 10:30AM on Kansas City’s classical station, Radio Bach, on 1660AM or 96.5HD2.
