The kids, the dogs, the cats, the husband… all of these are the perfect reasons for adding a mud room to your home before winter arrives. When the snow comes and the kids come in from playing outside, the husband comes in from shoveling snow, or the dogs make their way through the doggy door from the pouring rain, the mud room is your first line of defense for keeping the rest of the home clean! It is the place for hanging keys, letting wet outwear dry, taking off muddy boots, storing bookbags, sports gear, and dripping umbrellas.
