Over the years we are sure you’ve collected a lot of beautiful things in your home. Whether from far and distant lands or at a neighborhood garage sale, these items have become treasured pieces in your home…..so where do you put them?

If the answer is in the overflowing garage storage, there is a better way to keep your treasured items out on display in the home. Built-in niches, nooks, and “crannies” are perfect for adding a greater aesthetic to your home’s interior design and gives you more room to store and display items.

You can put niches in almost any room you please, the most common are the living room, shower, and dining room.

Nooks are larger than niches. If you have certain accent or antique furniture, these larger items would be excellent for that space.

Crannies are the smaller crevices that you can strategically place around your home to give you more space for those smaller items like baskets in the kitchen.

Where could you use a few niches, nooks, and crannies in your Kansas City home?
