It's ok to hate me for my new rug from Furbish . It's one of my most favorite things I own.  I've been looking for the perfect colorful-but-not-too-bright rug for years, and here it is. The wait was worth it. See more of my week after the jump.

This past Tuesday (7/3/12) marked the 4 year anniversary of me closing on my current home, which is truly unbelievable. I usually spend my time thinking about future projects, so I have to remind myself of just how much I have already done here. For example, here is my kitchen immediately after moving in-
