You may have thought there was no real solution for those unsightly white and beige switches and power outlets, but that is in fact not true! It is possible to hide those necessary eyesores behind the design. A power outlet or a light switch should never be the cause for an interruption in the aesthetics of your home.

I spent the last week (long weekend) in Kansas City visiting family, friends, going to a baby shower, hanging out with my sister and her kids, my grandparenets... it was wonderful. My good friends and I went to eat at Extra Virgin (above). It's a hip restaurant in the Crossroads District, where we scarfed down a meat plate and cheese plate — with some hummus for our vegetarian friend — along... 
It's no secret that I love a good bargain. It just makes good business sense to pay less for an item if you can. It is because of this belief, that I frequently turn to Home Goods, Marshalls, TJ Maxx and other similar discount stores to browse for items for my home. 
Woohoo! It's Friday! Any big plans for the weekend? I'm going to hang out with some fun DC gals, chill at the pool, get through my stack-o-mags , paint, go to yoga, work, give myself a mani/pedi, the usual. Mostly just enjoy being back at my little home. I bought a bunch of fresh fruit and veggies at the store yesterday, so I'm ready to snack on all of them.
