mimiandmegblog.com : WEEKLY FAVES: Black + Tan
mimiandmegblog.com : WEEKLY FAVES: Black + Tan

Woohoo! It's Friday! Any big plans for the weekend? I'm going to hang out with some fun DC gals, chill at the pool, get through my stack-o-mags , paint, go to yoga, work, give myself a mani/pedi, the usual. Mostly just enjoy being back at my little home. I bought a bunch of fresh fruit and veggies at the store yesterday, so I'm ready to snack on all of them.

This weeks Weekly Faves is brace yourself Black & Tan. Shocker! You know me and my black + neutrals. I do own lots of pattern & color, but I just don't wear them...

SuburbanSpunkDesign.com : How to sell furniture on Craigslist safely, quickly and effectively
SuburbanSpunkDesign.com : How to sell furniture on Craigslist safely, quickly and effectively

But we finally met in person, and I had her take me to a few of her favorite spots in NYC. See where she took me after the jump!

We had brunch at Mercaidto in the West Village (not being an NYC local, went to the one in the ...

mimiandmegblog.com : COLOR STORY: Rose + Black + Muted Lime

To me, color is fascinating. I will spend hours trying to find just the right shade of something for a post not the most efficient blogging tactic I must say. But I have a really hard time putting things together if I don't think the colors are right or at least interesting. I've studied color theory, but to be totally honest, I don't remember much of the specifics about anything from college. I mostly go with my gut and whatever I think looks good.
