I'm taking a break from house projects this evening and just enjoying some decor eye-candy. I have found myself gravitating towards white rooms for the first time recently. I usually love a saturated wall color, but I have a new appreciation for allowing accessories and textiles to be the center of attention. Case in point-

You may recall that I have recently given my master bath a face lift, including painting the vanity, framing the mirror and adding new lighting . Even after all that, I felt like it was still missing some spunk and since my blog is entitled Suburban Spunk after all, I felt compelled to do something bold. via This past Monday (Labor Day), I had one of those moments that made me step back and reevaluate my life. It was about 6:30 and our guests had all left and the kitchen was already cleaned up. via I think most people are familiar with the term 'spring cleaning'. I prefer to do this sort of deep-cleaning more than just once a year, in fact, I deep clean at the start of every season.
