A collective approach to identifying service professionals is unique in the marketplace and specifically designed to help consumers identify professionals who have scored highest in overall satisfaction (satisfaction of clients, peers and industry experts). The FIVE STAR Program is managed by Crescendo Business Services, LLC of Eagan, Minnesota, which owns the licensing rights to this award. Crescendo works with prominent city and regional magazines and business publications to present the "FIVE STAR Award" to professionals in many industries throughout the United States. This award is limited to just 7 percent of all professionals within a specific industry and market area. In addition to highlighting the FIVE STAR Professionals, Crescendo assists them in effectively marketing their award and enhancing their business results. Because the award is based on a sound research methodology and comes from a third party, it can be the cornerstone of an effective marketing program to positively differentiate the service professional from their competition.
