Caracs, or Food of the Gods

My mother moved to Switzerland when I was six years old, and for years, I spent my summers with her lounging in little sweet cafes. She introduced me to the best Swiss sweet in the world--Caracs, little pie crusts stuffed with chocolate and topped with green icing. Imagine my delight when the staff at Andre's said they could make me a box of Caracs! Should I confess that I ate the whole box of four in about 20 minutes?

A Sweet tooth for all

My sorority orders mini cakes from Andres each year for one of our recruitment events, and it is one of the things everyone looks forward to every year! We have to order about 100 more than we need because everyone sneaks them as we set up. If there is one thing 180 girls can come together on, it is pastries from Andre's.
