Owner Troy McEvers and executive chef Rick Martin teamed up in Summer 2009 to bring a new and much-needed dining concept to Kansas Citys culinary scene. The upscale biergarten atmosphere is enhanced by a well-chosen selection of domestic and imported beers and microbrews, while the menu--divided into localities, snacks, large plates, salads and sandwiches offers a decidedly elegant take on international comfort food like deviled eggs and braised rabbit. Everything is prepared on site, including the pickles, saltine crackers and ketchup.
